I BUILT THE COMPANY I'D WANT TO HIRE.
I grew up with two parents who taught me very different things about life.
My mom was incredibly creative. She encouraged me to think for myself, ask questions, and never be afraid to do things differently.
She was also a dog trainer, which meant my childhood was filled with dogs, dog shows, and more trips to breeders' homes than I could ever count.
My dad taught me something just as important.
HOW TO CARE ABOUT PEOPLE.
And I don't mean being polite or saying the right things.
I mean genuinely caring. Going out of your way for someone. Helping when there's nothing in it for you. Doing the right thing because it's the right thing to do.
That's just who my dad is. And I've spent my life trying to live up to that example.
My mom passed away in 2024, but what both of my parents taught me is something I'll carry for the rest of my life.
In many ways, Sovereign is a reflection of those lessons.
I've spent much of my career building businesses, leading teams, and working directly with customers.
And somewhere along the way, I realized something.
PEOPLE WANT TO FEEL LIKE SOMEONE CARES.
THAT'S WHY I BUILT SOVEREIGN SCOOP.
A COMPANY WORTH BEING PROUD OF.
And one that my parents would be proud of, too.
Yes, we pick up dog poop. And we’re going to be exceptionally good at it.
But I wanted to build something bigger than the service itself.
A place where people are proud of their work, where doing the right thing matters more than taking the easy way out, and where caring about others isn't just something we say.
And I want the people who work here to feel that same care. Because I believe how you treat your team eventually shows up in how they treat your customers.
